I Want My Life Back… It’s Over

Joy Jones gets done to the science of a break up, given the fact that she studied medical anthropology at the University of London. The words of this chorus are simple much like the melody, “tell me how to get over you my dear” powerful right?!? The reason that this song resonate so strong is because it is about rebirth. As much as you want to just stay stagnate and lifeless after the end of a relationship this urges you to get “Over.”

Interesting song. The presentation adds to the overall effect(drama) of the song. Although sometimes we might want to “dabble” in self-pity, there’s so much more to life where focus can and should be placed. I’m beginning to believe that ending a relationship is potentially more self-destructive than burying a loved one. To much reflection, hoping that it might just work.
Damn, I can’t get this song out of my head! LOL
