Tiger You Need to Play the Victim Card

Dear Tiger,
Damn homie. I can’t say I never thought you were cheating. I’m surprised you were caught. But I will say that Jordan and Barkley should have taught you better. But it’s cool, next time have a chick sign that waiver and you can avoid stuff like this.
I do have a question, is wifey mad you cheated or she is mad cause that chick you banged looked a little better than her? It’s just a question. I know you are suppose to be faithful in your marriage, but when you spend so much time away from home, it’s hard to keep that thing in your pants.
Tiger, you are hard headed. I know someone told you how to play the game and you didn’t want to listen. You have too much money to get caught up like this. Don’t you know in today’s age everyone is a spy? You are in the era of the camera phone and text message so that makes cheating harder in today’s society than it was 10 years ago. Anything you do can get you caught up.
If you wanted to cheat, you should have gotten a pre-paid phone. Or at least blocked your number. You can’t give a woman a chance to use anything against you.
If you made wifey sign a pre-nup, you are good. If not, I feel sorry for you. If you forgot about the pre-nup, charge her ass with assault. She tried to use your money maker to bang you upside your head.
As much as I hate to say this, you have been a target for years. Yeah, I’m playing the race card. They never want to see a brother get ahead. And you are killing them on the daily. First you took there sport from them. You have been the #1 golfer from the jump. And then you married one of there models. You have a double bulls-eye.
You have no choice but to speak out on things. I say talk to Tavis or Larry King first. Oprah might dog you because you are a man. If you talk to Oprah, set some rules. You want to save yourself in some way. And you have to stop taking the blame. You need to pass some on to her. She did swing the golf club at you hard. She even made you crash the whip.
You could have put your hands on her, but you did the right thing and walked away. And she chased you down. Tell your lawyer all of this. You might need to use it in court. You need to start thinking like you are the victim. If things don’t work at home you need a back up plan.
Keep your head up. If she kicks you out, come holler at me, I got a spare room.

Too bad about the T-man! LOL Lack of self-awareness had this dude living in wonderland from the start. And Sorry Mr. Jones, I like the letter, but can’t call dude “brother,” and I can’t feel sorry for him. He’s been sufferin’ from delusions of grandeur or some shyt like dat for years now.
He wanted to tap into that .0045% of his heritage to live his life, and that’s what he’s got. His perogative.
Girl must’a been chasin T’man down the driveway in the wee hours of the morning to catch up with him on foot! And, I’ll bet there were about 100-150 golf clubs thrown all over that lawn by the break of dawn!

I was expecting the chick to be some uber actress or model type, not some regular chick you can meet at the Safeway or dingy lounge. @Mufasa – He has just wanted to represent all parts of his heritage. My son is biracial and I would hope he would do the same.
Don’t misunderstand Saint, everybody should embrace their heritage. Got to. People should be proud of, and have love and respect for, Mom and Dad, their families and ancestors. Your son (as others) will enjoy a far more enriched life by embracing both backgrounds.
Most African Americans have some percentage of blood from another ethnic group. In my opinion, Mr. T-man just seems to want to embrace every speck of blood that’s inside of him except one – and like I said, it’s his perogative. However Mr. Jones was talkin’ race card, and callin’ him “brother.” I understood his reference to Mr. T-man as being a Black man. Mr. T-man would prolly take exception to that.
So, I’m just considering this as a rich guy who happens to play golf being beat down by his wife with a golf club . . . or . . . a rich golf guy who’s wife learned about his infidelity, and made him want to kill himself by slamming his luxury SUV into a tree! I was cool with Mr. Jones comments until he mentioned the race card.
@Mufasa most people will look at Tiger as a black man. There are alot of people running around who do not like to see black men with white women. I could care less who he marries. Tiger’s daddy was black, and I consider Tiger black. I know he has gone on record to say that he is half of this and that. But at the end of the day most people are going to see him as a black man in the United States playing a white man’s sport.
Tiger is a star. He has avoided the drama for a long time. Today is his time to get caught and face the music. Tiger was and still is a target. No matter what comes of this, people will bring up the fact that he cheated on his woman. And he made her so mad she chased him out of the house barefoot swinging his golf club at him.
What is done in the dark will come to light.

A guy on the Tom Joyner show (I think he’s a writer for Men’s Journal) said that Tiger should have learned cheating from Michael Jordan. He also said Tiger’s been opening his checkbook too much; and that keeping his mouth closed is actually making matters worse (in agreement w/Mr. Jones in that one respect).
MJ would take the licks (no pun intended), but go out and score 55 points the next night. The press would be like, “he’s cheating, but Wow! he scored 55 points!” Which is a bigger story? And, Kobe, who was charged with rape, still is considered as one of the best bb players in our time. That must’ve been really tough – but I don’t recall any beyotch actions on his part (other than interactions w/Shaq! LOL).
I believe that Tiger’s not made of tough emotional stock though. He was (understandably – as a son) protected by his father and has enjoyed being loved by mainstream America until now (I agree with the “living in wonderland” thing). That’s why he’s hiding from the media, and perhaps why he’s the only one who challenges being called black. I ain’t takin’ stabs at anyone but Tiger, and TMZ isn’t backing away yet – and I’m not convinced that race has anything to do with that. Entertainment value does, and maybe Tiger’s $$$ offer isn’t good enough for them.
Man up, and get a better PR firm.
